10th Annual Nikkei Place Craft & Bake Fair is coming up on Saturday, November 20 and Sunday, November 21 at the National Nikkei Museum & Heritage Centre. 10am-3pm both days. There are almost 90 vendors this year, with new vendors on the Sunday, so come check it out both days.

My new fabrics are here!

Spring Street by Hoffman featured below will be made into a dress for big girls aged 2 to 6 years. It will be a modern dress with an Asian touch.

This Kokka fabric from Japan is indigo-dyed and has little owls or fish.

We are going to use this for new Kidmono tops for big kids aged 2 to 6 years.

Hello everyone! We are now on Facebook.

We are going to be at many local events in the next few months, so we will be listing all of them soon on this blog and on Facebook.

Last Saturday, we were at the Cloverdale Kids Meet, that was fun! It was so great to meet customers and network with other mompreneurs.

Thank you for all the positive feedback and support. I especially want to thank Erin for looking us up at the meet for a Love Quilt, it was so nice meeting you and I hope you enjoy the beautiful First Village quilt. Have fun playing eye-spy!

We have 3 colours, Ai (pink), Ichi (green) and Zen (blue).

These wrap tops are easy on kids and parents. Putting one on is a snap. Use them on their own or layer them when the weather gets colder.

The kidmonos range in size for kids aged 9-12 months (size S), 12-18 months (size M) and 18-24 months (size L).

Well, my mom has been busy over the weekend and she has brought me 2 new quilts.

This is Gemma, we have a green one and a pink one.

If you like Gemma, we only have one

of each colour.

We also have a new item, a dress!

My mom used to make clothes for my sister and I.

Beautiful dresses that made us look like dolls.

She is a perfectionist.

This dress is almost done, it just needs a couple of buttons for the shoulder straps.

I think it is interesting how my mom insists on ironing the dress, even though it is not yet finished, perfect even during the process of creation.

More Love Quilts

Well, here they are, more love quilts.

We finally have a few more designs completed.

I was drawn to this floral pattern, a beautiful brown, accented with orange. It is warm, classic and eye-catching.

We named this quilt Lilith.

We haven't forgotten about the boys.........

This is First Village.

It is a scene in black, red and white, the first colours a baby sees. It is a graphic interpretation of a village filled with animals.

Playful and interesting. Perfect for a boy or girl.

Last but not least is this quilt filled with blues, greens,

teals and browns. It is a floral with birds and leaves.

We named this quilt Kelly.

If you like Kelly, there is only one left.......SOLD

We are starting with these quilts, they are mom-made by my mother.

This is a beginning for us, the talented, creative mother and the entrepreneurial daughter.

Why do we call them Love Quilts?

They are made, bought and given with love.

There is no better way to describe them.

I saw this fabric at the store and knew we just had to have it. A beautiful pink with a design that is sophisticated yet simple. For the little girl who has everything....wrap her in a Love Quilt.

This quilt is made of 100% cotton with polyester fill. It measures approximately 26" by 32".
